Petition Book Pages A great blessing to our Parish Petition Book is that it allows a large number of people to keep your particular needs in prayer. The Petition Book pages will be scanned and made available so that others, throughout the week – not just on Sunday – but throughout the week, may pray for your petitions. Parish Lending Library. Our Parish lending library makes available various resources of a spiritual nature. Books, DVD's, CD's videos and audio cassettes are available for check out. It is delightful to see parents bring their children to select a DVD for family viewing. In order to update our selection, book sales are held periodically. The lending library is located in the church foyer across from the gift shop. Please stop by to check out materials and also to return any outstanding items. Volunteers Needed. More volunteers would mean more hours of operation. Please contact Laura at [email protected] for more information. The Parish Library exists to be shared. Books may be borrowed on the honor system. Our only rule is that you return any item borrowed in a timely fashion and in the condition in which it left. The library is located in the choir practice room in the Parish hall and is open during all weekend masses.
In fact, the parish itself has been supplementing the library for the past few years, and more so since we moved from Santa Susanna. With Amazon, Kindles, iPhones and other electronic means to read, we have basically become a used book store, which is not our purpose. And so the Parish Council has decided that it is time to close the library.

The Lending Library is supported entirely by donations and all money collected is used to buy new books, supplies, and other needed items. Books and CDs can be signed out for three weeks, and DVDs for one week and can be renewed if no one is waiting for them. Materials can be returned to the Lending Library, or to the Parish Office in Heritage.
The Lending Library is located below the Narthex of the Church. It is pretty loosely structured. There is no card catalogue or check out for the materials borrowed. It is just asked that the books are returned when the individual is done with them. Please don’t keep them longer than three months to give other people a chance to read them.
